Nonna and Nonno and Uncle Kyle and Aunt Julie (and expecting) came to visit me for my birthday this Sunday.
We played and then I took a power nap, and when I got up, we opened presents and I got to see my spider cupcakes that mommy and daddy worked so hard on.
I got a bunch of things, but my favorite was my Octonauts play set, which I spent the rest of the day playing with, using my imagination, and attacking it with my new rubber spider.
Today is Olivia's Nana Karen's birthday, so I brought her over a special delivery on the back of my trike.
Today, Nonna and Nonno came to visit with us in honor of Daddy's Birthday. She made him a cake, but let me decorate it!
As you can see, I give the cake boss a run for his money. Thanks Nonna for letting me have so much fun!
Today I got a special delivery from my Pops. He and Sandy sent me a really cool pirate sock puppet!
Thanks Pops and Sandy! xoxo
The first thing I said when I opened my eyes this morning was, "where's all my friends!?" I was very excited to see them and lots of my family too! I had a blast running around playing with balloons and the cool Gruffalo masks mommy made for us. I picked out a cupcake to put my candle in and was very excited for everyone to sing happy birthday to me.
Here are some of the decorations mommy made. Yaya and Uncle Dan made the cool toadstools from clay and hand painted them!
Thanks to all of my friends and family for making this such a special day! xoxo
Today, I went to my buddy Rocco's house for his birthday party. It was awesome! We played in the bouncy house and used squiters (squirt guns, but our mommies don't like the gun part, so we just say squirters) on each other and the adults! It was a blast!
Today I am three years old! I was able to count out three candles for my cupcake. I still love all dinosaurs and reptiles. I can name lots of them. I like to pretend I am a T-Rex and chase all of my friends around. I like narrating everything as I see it. I don't eat as well as I did six months ago, but mommy thinks I sure do look bigger in this photo! I've endured three surgeries and I have glasses now. I learned to use the potty and I still enjoy playing in the sand (and maybe occasionally peeing in it). Mommy and daddy think I am the sweetest little boy and love waking up to my cute little face smiling at them every morning.
Here's my three years in thirty seconds...
After my day of crazy fun and a nice long nap, I opened my birthday gift from mommy and daddy. It's a really fun barn that was the closest thing mommy could find to the cool canal house Ollie and Charlie have that I loved playing with when we were in Amsterdam. After daddy and I put it together, mommy asked which of my animals would live in the barn. I said "my SNAKE!" - of course!
p.s. Thanks for all the phone calls, texts, emails and facebook posts with birthday wishes!
Shortly after dad left for work mommy and I got in the car and drove to Newburyport to visit my buddies Liam and Rocco (Tyler was at camp). We had a blast running around playing chase, playing in the sandbox, eating pizza and cupcakes, and opening gifts!
Special thanks to Liam and Rocco's mommy Beth who made the yummiest cupcakes and sent me home with one too! You guys made my day!!
Daddy heard me get up this morning at 6:20 AM and found me using the potty by myself! Hey, what'd you expect? I am three now. ;)
Mommy gave daddy the okay to get me my favorite breakfast - DONUTS! With Pink frosting! Then we all got ready and took some photos. It was a very nice morning to kick off being three!
