The Arace Children

A blog for the smallest members of our family.

Officially Standing and Cruising

It's only been a short time since I've been officially crawling, but I decided that I like to pull myself up to standing and cruise around a lot more.

Mommy thinks I was showing off because Great Grandma Dee Dee was here.

Thanks for the pillow pets Great Grandma!

Something scary happened on Halloween!

I got my first tooth! Not scary for me, but scary for Mommy!

Bottle

I decided to end my bottle strike with a bang and not only take a bottle, but feed it to myself. Bam!

Baby Swing

It was the first chilly day I've experienced, but that didn't stop me from trying out a swing at my friend Olivia's house!

Weeeee! (I look thrilled, don't I? How would you look if you had a 2 year old and a 4 year old trying to "push" you in a swing?)

Sitting Up Myself

Look! No Hands!! Yes, I can officially sit up without propping myself up with my hands.

Don't my brother and I look adorable? Mommy ended up throwing the camera down during this photoshoot because Enzo decided to eject me off his lap once his 15 seconds of camera time were up. He said, "I pushed baby Ava off of me because I was interested in the silk worm." (a purple squishy toy about 2 feet away). Because I am such a light weight, I went flying through the air and Mommy tossed the camera to catch me before I ended up on one of the bookshelves. Yikes!

Apple Picking Fall 2013

Today, I went apple picking for the very first time. My big brother Enzo showed me the ropes (and lots and lots of apples). He picked the smallest ones he could find just for me. I'm not so sure what the big deal is about apple picking and Mommy thinks you can see it on my face in most of the photos.

There is not much I can do with an apple since I have no teeth yet, but that didn't stop me from trying!

Toes in the sand

Here I am in beautiful Kennebunkport Maine putting my toes in the sand for the very first time!

Sponsored by the awesome D'Italia Family via their fantastic beach house (also happen to be wearing an outfit they gave me). Thanks guys!

Too Active and Too Small

So, lately I've been super active and Mommy has been trying to figure out a way to keep me happy without holding me in her arms all day. She never needed an exersaucer for my brother because he was a less wiggly baby. She was happy about that because she didn't want a plasticy hunk of crap in her living room, however, she finally decided to cave and get me one...

She tried to pick the least cluttered one with some educational value. Too bad I am too tiny to fit in it yet! HA! As you can see, my chin is about where my waist should be. Back to the drawing board Mommy.

I can roll over!

Yes, you read that correctly! I am 11 weeks old and I can roll from my back to my belly. Mommy looked it up and my brother couldn't do this until he was almost 6 months old. Ha!
