12:00 - 15:00 - Enzo skips his nap
19:00 - Enzo passes out for the night
3:00 - Enzo wakes up, daddy returns him to bed but doesn't turn his motion alarm back on
5:00 - mommy hears tiny footsteps but doesn't have her glasses nearby, so she asks daddy to peak; daddy says he sees nothing.
6:55 - mommy gets up 5 minutes before daddy's alarm goes off (as usual), uses the bathroom, gets her glasses and sees this....
7:30 - daddy puts Enzo in his spot in bed
7:31 - Enzo climbs out and onto the floor and does this....
"Coffee" is really chocolate milk in his cool mug from Amsterdam.
He looks so sophisticated with his mug and his glasses on. ;)
Today, I went to my buddy Rocco's house for his birthday party. It was awesome! We played in the bouncy house and used squiters (squirt guns, but our mommies don't like the gun part, so we just say squirters) on each other and the adults! It was a blast!
Mila brought me back this super cool egg cup from Italy! Mom was hoping it would help me to want to eat eggs.
I did one dip with my toast and that was it, but mom thinks that is better than nothing! ;)
Today I am three years old! I was able to count out three candles for my cupcake. I still love all dinosaurs and reptiles. I can name lots of them. I like to pretend I am a T-Rex and chase all of my friends around. I like narrating everything as I see it. I don't eat as well as I did six months ago, but mommy thinks I sure do look bigger in this photo! I've endured three surgeries and I have glasses now. I learned to use the potty and I still enjoy playing in the sand (and maybe occasionally peeing in it). Mommy and daddy think I am the sweetest little boy and love waking up to my cute little face smiling at them every morning.
Here's my three years in thirty seconds...
After my day of crazy fun and a nice long nap, I opened my birthday gift from mommy and daddy. It's a really fun barn that was the closest thing mommy could find to the cool canal house Ollie and Charlie have that I loved playing with when we were in Amsterdam. After daddy and I put it together, mommy asked which of my animals would live in the barn. I said "my SNAKE!" - of course!
p.s. Thanks for all the phone calls, texts, emails and facebook posts with birthday wishes!
Shortly after dad left for work mommy and I got in the car and drove to Newburyport to visit my buddies Liam and Rocco (Tyler was at camp). We had a blast running around playing chase, playing in the sandbox, eating pizza and cupcakes, and opening gifts!
Special thanks to Liam and Rocco's mommy Beth who made the yummiest cupcakes and sent me home with one too! You guys made my day!!
Daddy heard me get up this morning at 6:20 AM and found me using the potty by myself! Hey, what'd you expect? I am three now. ;)
Mommy gave daddy the okay to get me my favorite breakfast - DONUTS! With Pink frosting! Then we all got ready and took some photos. It was a very nice morning to kick off being three!
Today, when I woke up from my nap mommy informed me that a special birthday package arrived from my buddies Ollie and Charlie in AMSTERDAM! When I opened the box, I frowned and said, "Where's Ollie and Charlie?" Then, mommy informed me that they only sent the gift and couldn't be shipped across the big ocean in a tiny box. Once we cleared that up, I opened all of my gifts. I especially liked the rocket ship and told momma, "That's really cool!"
Thanks Ollie and Charlie and Rebecca and Brad! We miss you guys!!
The other day Jay and his awesome girlfriend Jessica sent me a really cool crane to help cheer me up during my recovery. For those of you who don't know Jay, he's the one who graciously hosts this blog for all of you to enjoy. Here I am putting my imagination to use and combining two of my favorite things. I call it Snakes on a Crane!
Thanks Jay and Jessica! You guys rock!!
